Low carb, high healthy-fat fry up

The best way to start the day is to pump yourself full of protein and healthy fats! This cooked breakfast will curb your fry-up cravings and keep you full ’till lunch time, all guilt free!

Serves 1


-1 sausage

-1/2 an avocado

-1 egg

-3 mushrooms

-A handful of spinach

-Salt and pepper to taste

-1 tablespoon of coconut oil


  1. Prick the sausage with a fork and pop it on the grill on a medium heat, don’t forget to turn over after a few minutes.
  2. In a large frying pan, heat the oil. Chop the mushrooms and add to the pan with the spinach to stir. On the other side of the pan, crack the egg and stir it which a fork until it scrambles. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  3. Once its all cooked, put the contents of the pan onto the plate and slice the avocado next to it.
  4. Once the sausage is done, add to the plate. That’s your fry up ready to go!
