Sweet porridge

For this of you, like me, who have a major sweet tooth, you’ll know that the craving for chocolate and naughty treats can start the MOMENT you wake up. This breakfast option is the perfect way to fully satisfy these cravings whilst keeping it healthy and lean. Plus, this breakfast is proper fuel food and will keep you full up and energised for hours!

Ingredients:

-50g porridge oats

-300ml milk

Toppings:

-one square of dark chocolate (preferably 85% cocoa or over) broken into small chunks

-A teaspoon cinnamon

-A tablespoon honey

-A handful of sultanas

-A tablespoon of peanut butter

-A small teaspoon Nutella (cause it’s just the best and I couldn’t resist)

Method:

  1. Measure out the oats and milk and stir together in a microwavable jug
  2. Microwave on high for 2.5 minutes, then stir and continue to microwave for another minute. Stir again and check the consistency, return to the microwave for a little longer if you prefer your porridge thicker.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and get started with you toppings!
  4. Literally just pile it all on top and tuck in 🙂
